Transmission System Operators to Publish 2026 Biogas Pass-Through Amount

Publication pursuant to Section 7, Item 7, Subparagraph (a) of the Cooperation Agreement for gas supply networks located in Germany:

In 2026, the nationwide uniform biogas levy will be 1.6164 €/kWh/h/a.

The nationwide uniform biogas pass-through amount is determined by the transmission system operators based on the cooperation agreement and published annually by October 1. The Federal Network Agency provides the data needed for this calculation; implementation then takes place through the network operators’ network tariffs.
