Network tariffs
FNB Gas on the BNetzA’s Guidance Paper on the Gas Network Tariff System (Establishment of “SyGNE”)
Transmission system operators welcome the retention of the existing network tariff structure at the transmission system level. The current tariff system has proven its worth in the market and ensures planning certainty as well as reliable operating conditions for all market participants.
In principle, the transmission system operators understand the elimination of the fees for avoided network costs associated with biogas. At the same time, they see a need to reform the biomethane support scheme in order to ensure the economic viability of biomethane plants on the one hand and to reduce grid costs through efficient grid connection regulations on the other.
