Together, its members operate a pipeline network of around 40,000 kilometers for the transport of natural gas and are jointly constructing the hydrogen core network, which is around 9,000 kilometers long. The association supports its members in fulfilling their legal and regulatory obligations. It also coordinates integrated network development planning for gas and hydrogen at the transport network level as part of the new coordination office (KO.NEP) created in 2024.
