In July, the transmission system operators (TSOs) presented their planning status for the hydrogen core network. Now the distribution system operators (DSOs) are also presenting their plans for the transformation of the gas infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the occasion of today’s publication of the Gas Network Area Transformation Plan (GTP), Barbara Fischer, Managing Director of FNB Gas e.V., explains: <\/p>\n\n

“TSOs and DSOs are pulling together in planning the hydrogen network. It is important that hydrogen infrastructure planning goes hand in hand at all levels. FNB Gas therefore welcomes the fact that hydrogen network planning is also progressing at the distribution network level. FNB’s supra-regional hydrogen core network connects generation regions and import points with consumption regions. The downstream distribution networks provide area supply.” <\/em><\/p>\n\n

Already in September a year ago, TSOs and DSOs had presented a joint concept for the interaction between the bottom-up based GTP concept and the top-down concept of the network development plan gas in the context of the hydrogen report according to \u00a728q EnWG<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n

The GTP 2023 results report is available on the H2vorOrt initiative website <\/a>.<\/p>\n\n
