FNB Gas on the “WANDA” draft specification

The transmission system operators expressly welcome and support the BNetzA’s approach of creating the necessary regulatory provisions for implementing the financing model of the EnWG draft for the hydrogen core network with the WANDA specification at this point in time.

It makes sense to anticipate the standards of German and European law which, although not yet in force at the time of the consultation process now beginning, are already foreseeable in concrete terms. This approach ensures that no valuable time is lost in creating the necessary national framework conditions and that more planning certainty can be created now for all market players, even if adjustments may be necessary at a later date.
