Statement of FNB Gas on the publication of DENA Network Study III

“The network study provides an important impetus for the political discussion on future network planning processes. The transmission system operators fundamentally support DENA’s proposals for an upstream system development plan. Such a process is suitable for aligning network planning more closely with the target picture in the future and for placing the scenario frameworks for the electricity and gas networks on a common basis. The stronger integration of network planning for electricity and gas, and in the future also for hydrogen, is a central building block for an affordable energy transition and a secure energy supply in a climate-neutral future.”
